Carlo Rinaldi Violin, Paris 1920
Pairs well with
This elegant Carlo Rinaldi violin, made in Paris circa 1920, reflects the refined craftsmanship and tonal ideals of early 20th-century French violin making.
Finished in a warm amber-brown varnish, the instrument features a finely grained spruce top paired with a beautifully flamed maple back, ribs, and neck. The workmanship is clean and balanced, with well-cut f-holes, a gracefully carved scroll, and a harmonious overall outline typical of French workshop instruments from this period.
Tonally, the violin offers a focused, clear sound with good projection, complemented by a warm core and responsive articulation. It speaks easily across all registers, making it well-suited for advanced students, serious amateurs, and orchestral players seeking a mature, characterful instrument with European heritage.
This violin has been professionally set up and checked, ensuring excellent playability and structural stability.
