The Pirastro Permanent Cello String Medium Set features A and D strings with a high-tensile steel core wound with chrome steel, while the G and C strings have a rope core wound with tungsten. These strings offer a quick response, exceptional tuning stability, and immediate playability. They are suitable for both acoustic and electric cellos, making them versatile for various performance needs.

The A and D strings produce a brilliant and bright sound, adding clarity and brilliance to your playing. On the other hand, the G and C strings provide a warm and powerful sound with a shorter decay, enhancing the depth and resonance of your cello's lower register.

Gramercy Music curates and lists only the most established makers. We take pride in all the instruments we bring in because of their fine workmanship. You are entitled to a one (1) year warranty for manufacturing defects (T&Cs apply).

Warranty Exceptions

Our team will make all the necessary checks to confirm your instrument's integrity. Once verified, we will contact you to make the necessary fixtures.

Our warranty exceptions include wear from normal use, improper string gauge usage, and damage that results from abuse, neglect, accident, or from exposure of instruments to extreme temperature or humidity conditions.

• Setup, action and tonality of the instrument is also a matter of personal preference, and is not covered by warranty
• Settling of the finish is considered "normal" and is not covered by warranty
• Unauthorised repairs or alterations will also void this warranty
• Hardware not manufactured by Gramercy Music is warranted by the original manufacturer
• Shipping and insurance charges to and from the authorised repair facility will be borne by the customer

We encourage you to take up insurance, as shipping damages will not be our responsibility. 

How to claim your warranty and/or get your instrument repaired:

1. Email us your purchase receipt alongside an explanation of the issue and photos of your instrument to our email at info@gramercy.com.sg . Please kindly title the email "Instrument Repairs & Warranty".
2. Our technical / luthier will inspect the instrument and reply to you within 3 working days. You will have to bring or ship your instrument to our premises at:
